The first release of the Peanut/WordPress demonstration site is complete. Our goals for this release are:
- Initial configuration of role, permissions, and menu management, including support for multiple WordPress roles and directory protection by role based authentication
- The “Nutshell” website addon:
- Hosts various Peanut pages that do not require embedding in a WordPress page.
- Underlying code keeps the “Nutshell” menu in sync with WordPress.
- We demonstrate nearly seamless look and feel between the WordPress and Nutshell portions of the website.
- Implementation of various email and admin features
- On the WordPress side:
- Home page with peanut introduction
- Featured posts on the “Content” menu.
- “Test Pages” menu featuring several pages demonstrating the use of the “Gutenberg Block”. Nothing fancy, here we just wanted to “smoke test” a number of Peanut components as embedded in a WordPress page.
